Forward-looking leaders in North Dakota's agriculture and energy industries are taking steps now to promote the technologies and practices that can dramatically reduce emissions of global warming pollution. But this problem also requires national action.
Other countries have taken the lead on this issue, while the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases, the United States, has been dragging its feet. Our representatives in Congress need to know that North Dakotans are ready to confront this challenge and want meaningful action now.
